"close to 400" really doesnt mean much in an auto cause the stall and gears will throw off teh dyno reading tremendously. you can get a decent cam only car with a stall and gears and it'll only put up 320rwhp but run 11's at the track. to see "400rwhp" on a dyno with a stall and gears your gonna need heads and all which will definetly not be budget.
a nice shot of spray would get you there no problem..2000 WS.6 Trans am M6

Stock- 2002 Camaro
Untill you can afford a nice H/C set-up, i would just spray. I was in your shoes a couple of years ago (young, not really much money to spend on ur car) I just put together a list of the stuff i bought, it was about 18k and i was at 397wrhp. now i had alot of other stuff done like suspension, stereo, ect. but looking back i wish i would have just done nitrous. Now i just blew my H/C motor and am doing a LQ9 408, its like a sickness once you start you just cant stop.
so with N20, you will have a fast car when you want it but on the other hand you still have your DD and wont have to worry about bad gas mileage. just my .02
Good Luck

- Looking for an LSX car.
A good tune and a semi big cam should net you 400hp with out touching the heads.
I need to dyno but my car with a AZPS03 Cam tuned with a set of LT's should be around 400hp at the wheels...
