Yes the judges do accept it. They don't look at how much junk is under the hood but how well you have all that junk clean. No dirt, no mess. If it werent for my top and seat bolster I would have scored a close 1000 in the last show. But with mileage you have wear and until I get those things fixed or replaced it will continue to get the same score. I'll be waiting on those parts! Let me know when you send them off. I'll email you later.

No, yours are def better! We didn't find this powder until after we did mine but I am going to have to redo them after I seen how yours turned out!
Ultimate chrome powder. It is ashame they have to be cleared because it actually takes away from the shine. Nontheless they still look amazing!

This isn't the best pic but I tried to get the reflection. Like I had said before the pics do no justice...
Yes they did ship.

why use chrome powder coat on the fuel rails, when you can just chrome the fuel rails instead?

You will never have to worry about the powder flaking off or pitting.

I haven't had any issues with that on my fuel rail, but it's probably b/c I don't drive my car enough to have to worry about that.

QUALITY chrome plating wont do that either. But the real reason for PC vs chroming is it costs about a quarter as much. There is nothing wrong with PC at all but side by side with real chrome plating it fails to impress.
With that said I DIDN'T have my FR chromed because it has to be dipped and I can not see ever being able to get all the residue the process leaves out of the inside of the rail and it would cause countless problems. Travisnd was your rail really chromed or is it polished? If so do you know how they did it? DId they just seal up all the holes that well?
Like I said I just hand polished mine and cleared it...the pictures suck but its uner my FRCs anyway so all you see is the crossover tube:

yeah real chrome and powder can never be compared. but like you said the cost comparison is the difference.

My fuel rail was chromed. I believe they plugged it up, since it had caps on the ends when it came back from the chromer. It's been installed for almost a year now and no issues at all and looks awesome!!

In the NEAR future, we will be offering true chrome coating to go with our packages. Yes it will cost a bit more, but for those of you who just gotta have that chrome it will be avaliable.
