ya i was thinking about that, my friend gave me the idea after looking it over but i dont know how much trouble that would be

Not too much, just a little bit of filler, bondo perhaps and a spray. You could sand off the paint yourself, fill it in, and take the bumper to a shop to be sprayed.

Haven't done anything to the taillights... so not sure what you mean.

There are 3 bulbs in each tailight in a horizontal pattern. Normally the inside 2 on each side stay on and all 3 only light up during braking, there's a mod you can do to the wiring to get all 3 to stay on instead of just 2, I though you had it. Or is your car an m6 and you had the handbrake on for the pic?

Hmm... I always thought they were always on, but the inside 2 went brighter for brakes... But no, its an auto and didn't have the ebrake on.. in fact, I think I have only had it on once when I was working on it.... lol.

2nd, but they kept the car prestine and original.. have a folder of all the maintenance, etc... so I don't think anything was changed there...

But I was thinking... the outside lights don't do anything.. not brakes, not signals... so why wouldn't they be on all the time.. and the inside ones were the ones that light up brighter for the signals and brakes.... or am I missing something?

Ok.. I need some people to take pics of their cars taillights on at night with no parking brake etc and prove this... and post the year/type/etc.. maybe they changed this later on? Mine in an 02...

All three come on for parking lights and the 2 inside ones go brighter for the brakes. That is the way it came from the factory. All four of the 4th gens I have/had did this.

I know that but is it just me or aren't his unusually bright glowing clearly in daylight?
