black- 98 formula
to buy or not to buy
Sometimes i do a search on here and the threads that come up are completely un-related? wassup with dat? Secondly, I'm STILL contemplating buying a 98 t/a formula with 145k, but the car stalls out and has no 3rd or 4th gears in the 4l60 trans. So im hoping the stalling is just a fuel pump, but what about the trans? i guess i can have it rebuilt, how much anyone know?
Or try a junk yard swapper myself, anyone done it ?? laslty buy a monster or some other brand built trans (seems costly) thx dudes.

You will pay well over $1,000 to have a 4L60E rebuilt and if you want it to handle some power you will spend over $2,000. I have had my tranny out several times....it's not the easiest job I have ever done, and you will need a buddy to help you.

black- 98 formula
"Whats the price" 2500 with the fuel pump fixed (it has been looked at and was diagnosed) or 1900 as is, towed to my house. I think it's worth more than that for parts either way. what about you guys...

Yes, it's "just a formula" and there were "just only 596 of them made with black" was your post just to draw attention to my original T/A depiction? if so that just stood for Tits and ASs, lol

Red- 1998 WS6 Trans Am
i had my a4 trans rebuilt for only $800.00. Guy even made it shift the way i wanted. Have it to where it breaks loose from 1st to 2nd if i give it enough gas. Other gears are normal. anyways, it runs as if it were brand spankin new.
