movie warning: marley and me
Ok so we just got back from taking the niece and nephews to see marley and me and let me forewarn you guys. Although its a good movie, its not for the young ones. I dont want to spoil the movie but beware, the ending is not child appropriate. We now have 3 very upset kids. Again I dont want to spoil it but the movies actually a very serious plot altough the comercials portray it as a comedy. I will admit it had its funny parts but this ones a real tear jerker. Sorry if that spoils it for anyone, didnt want to go into too much detail, just trying spare you guys some grief if you have little ones.

This is true, although there wasnt as much of her ass as i expected there to be... i vote for a remake with more ass less sappy, less dog, less owen wilson... actually i think it should just be Jennifer and ass instead of marley and me lol. Ill pay to see that several times.

I read the book, so I know what happens. It's about the life of a dog, so you can kind of figure out how it'll end. It's sad, but it has some really good parts, especially if your a dog owner, and even more so if that dog is a lab.
I actually just read a review of the movie, and it actually gave the same warning you just did.
I'm kind of upsest with the movie, the way they're marketing it as a comedy. And the casting sucks. I can't stand aniston, and they're actually too old to play the characters in the book, IMO.

Reminds me of the time I took my stepbrothers to an old abandoned burned downed warehouse and said " OH NO!! DISNEY LAND BURNED DOWN"
They cried and cried but deep down... they knew it was a good joke.
Marley... i am legend.. the dog dies... Irony???

it's pretty sad just how much kids are sheltered these days. My kids aren't going to be that way. Since I hunt they're pretty well aware of the food chain and how deer becomes dinner. My neighbors raise chickens and I went over last summer and helped them butcher and dress out a bunch of them. Both kids got an up close view of the life cycle of a chicken, my son even helped out a little. Just enough to get bloody.
Then I brought one home and put it in the smoker and fed it to them.
