my center console rattles when mine is open...i took mine apart and tightened everything up but still shakes..i think some type of rubber washer on the bolts would solve most of the rattles..

My gear selector rattles, the little plastic tabs that move with the shifter. Ive heard a turndown will solve most of these...

here is a list of things that you should do in order of priority in my opinion.

    -SFC
    -Lid
    -LT/ORY
-CutOut (or a high flowing catback *Corsa, Magnaflow*)
    -Port&Polish TB
    -Stall
    -LS6 Intake

Just my opinion and experiance, havent had any luck personaly and the oil from the filter has caused nothing but issues. Have had to remove plenty of them and clean the Maf and TB because the oil gummed everything up.
On the dyno the paper flow's just as well as a K&N.

I don't have a lid (GTO) but I ditched the K&N oiled cone filter for a generic dry paper cone.....less than half the price snd I like it a lot better

    Thanks. I'll look at it.

Would it be a lot louder than what I have now. I'm from the school of not to loud when your cruising but let it loose when you hammer it. Right now cruising around is pretty loud from where I'm sitting. I was sure that my cat back would be a good system. It seems to FLOW well, pardon the punt.

Your car seems to be running really well with Flowmaster exhaust? Why would people say that it's not a good exhaust???

    Thanks
