HELP! lost oem wheel lock! wat do i do?
Well i seem to have lost the oem wheel lock on my 99 z28. what should i do in a case like this? i dont really feel like breaking the locks off, and i would really like to use the oem lug nuts with my oem wheels. can i get another one made identical to the one on my car from the dealer?

Two options:
1.Find a wheel lock tool for sale, or buy one from the dealer
2.Pound a 1 size smaller socket over the lock nut, remove nut, throw as hard as you can, go get a regular lug nut..(autozone or dealer will have)(I have done this many times at the tech school, i reccomend this)

The actually make Lug Nut removal sockets. I needed to do this as I stripped a lug nut off my wife's car. it took me longer to go to the store and buy it then it was to remove it. the set cost me 20.00 at NAPA.

^^^ but does that work on a locking lug nut though, one that needs a lug nut key to get it off?
