Did the 06 M6s have Torque management?

The 06 M6 has no TCM module like a 06 a4. GM utilizes timing being pulled/advanced to control "spin". Now we are talking TM and not Traction Control here.

Right. Does the TC take a while to turn off? It seems sometimes after I turn it off that it is still functioning.

Black- 2004 GTO
I've been interested in this for a bit, I've got an 04 M6 and I've read the computer controls the torque for transmission longevity, Is there really much difference in tuning it out? I would rather have full torque from the engine and is there any from the LS1 M6?

mines an a4 and tunedout all engine and tranny torque management at the same time so I can't tell you how much of a differece just the engine TM being tunedout would feel. Originally Posted by TyeMug
