2009 Z06 or 2009 Viper Roadster

Well this all got started innocently enough when my daughter ask me to go with her to look at a 09 Tahoe. The guy that owns the Chevy dealership here is a semi friend of mine and loves the Goat. So I am in the GTO and out on the lot looking at cars with my daughter and he comes out and wants to trade me heads up title for title for a 09 Vette. I tell him no way....he ups it to a Z6. I tell him I like the Viper better and we all laugh and he tells me his offer is good until he gets the Goat. So we go home and my daughter tells Mama. Mama sez she doesnt want anymore cars in the garage but she does like the Vettes and so the "offer" was made by Mama "get rid fo the GTO and go get a Viper or the Vette.
Bottom line is this....We are getting ready to build her the retirment house and I have plans for a 6 cars shop for myself and she can have a attached 3 car garage.
My consideration is having too many cars and not driving them. That is a waste. If I have the truck/GTO and a Vette or Viper I can drive all of them enough to justify having them. But having all four is too many. I'm leaning towards the Viper though. I like the coupe.

I haven't been in a Z06 Sarge but I have been in a Viper. It's a freakin man eating machine. That car can chew your titanium balls up and spit them out with its Torque. It's crude, unrefined, loud, and has entirely too much torque for its own good. It's everything a muscle car should be.

Viper.

The Z06 pretty much looks like every other Corvette out there to most untrained eyes. The Viper?

Nothing else looks like it, other than other Vipers and those aren't every day sightings.

I've always like the '97ish Viper GTS's body shape but as far as power and interior I would definitely go with the new ones. Only in a Coupe though, never vert. I did ride in a vert saturday night and that was amazing. The verts are a bit lighter too since they dont change anything with the chassis between the two.

I do kinda agree with Spaz. The 1st gen GTS is sex on wheels. I like it better than the newer ones also.
