honestly I think the z06 is the better all around car. You'd get more use out of it, its plenty fast, theres tons of mods, it's more practical etc You got active handling so you can really let her rip and not worry as much about crashing the damn thing. Whereas the viper is a total animal with really high roadholding limits until you break traction, then you are likely to spin it

As far as Vipers go, I'd go with the coupe, but thats just me...

I'd say keep the GTO. That's just my opinion. I never was a corvette fan, and the viper doesn't really do anything for me either.

Pewter- 2001 Camaro Z28 M6
Go with the GM vette..... Personally I have never liked mopar or anythign that dodge has made.
dodge is selling off the viper, however the viper will continued to be made.
Gm LSx cars are more fun to mod....

Sarge, being the old man that you are, i would suggest the Z06 as it is easier to get in and out of...
the viper feels like you are getting in and out of a bathtub
just some food for thought....

You'll have to try both out. Personally for me after riding in a Viper and driving several Z06's, I'd take the Z06. Much more space if you a bigger guy. I'm 6'1" and 315 lbs and had plenty of room in the Z06. I had none in the viper. It was a convertible with the top up and my head was against the top. Plus the z06 is more comfortable IMO especially for longer trips.

The vipers bottomless torque sounds like a lot of fun though lol

viper no doubt about it.. vette's are everywhere, I rarely turn my head when I see a vette, but a viper always gets the stares.

Silver- 2003 GTI 1.8T :(
like some other people said... you will honestly have to test drive them before you listen to us... but for sake of saying i think without driving them being a factor i would probably chose the z06.... but then again i have never driven either

Red Tint Jewelcoat- 2008 Trailblazer SS
Saw 3 Vipers today just running to Target. And they weren't together.
Saw no LS7 Z06's.

Granted, I wouldn't buy a car based on which one I see less often.

i've rode in several vipers at the srt experience and also have been in several z06's. I love both of the cars, but the viper would be my choice
