mostly stock dyno numbers
I got bored in school today so i decided that i would run my 1998 camaro on the mustang dyno that we have at school. My car is basically stock all it has done is SLP loudmouth exhaust its a m6 with 107xxx miles. I ended up getting 342 RWTQ and 330 RWHP. Are these pretty good numbers for a basically stock car?

Silver- 2000 Camaro SS
I tuned an '04 M6 GTO with CAI and cat delete pipes. Put down 352 RWHP/ 366RWTQ. It was a basic WOT tune done at the track. I tuned it for free for a friend and noone wants to believe that the engine is bone stock. Pretty impressive for a near stock LS1 GTO, ran a 12.9 @ 108, 3800-3900# raceweight. Clutch doesn't hold a hard launch either.

Your crazy for speaking on the 'vette like that. So often I find F-body owners to be envious of them. It's sooo sad. There GM products as well. The vette is superior in many ways to the F-body, that's why GM can charge twice the money and get lots of people to buy them. Lighter curb weight, better aerodynamics, superior handling...and better looks most might say. How dare you.

i think the real reason for the hate on a vette is there owners are cocky a$$ holes that think they are better then every one. like my uncle! cocky a$$ but cant drive his any way. i whooped his car many many of times. and he still talks smack on my car. every vette owner i run into are the same. like a group of owners ruined the whole vette name. the guy above was lost so i pointed him the way its the same motor. ls base. not tryin to be mean and all. sorry. btw i will never own one of those cars.

i really have not ran into any. besides vette guys. raced all maro's and ta's win and lose we still talk at the end and admire each others car. most time change numbers. vette ppl know win or lose the just say this is a 60K car. or wave them down and they look and stick there nose up and hammer it. ya them the ppl that dont need those cars.

I don't know man. I've met guys that were just cocky, period. No matter what car they drove, that's just how they were. I've met cocky import drivers, Mustang drivers, F-body drivers, all sorts. True there are a good number of cocky vette drivers, but I have met many cool vette guys at the track over the years.

Those numbers are high for being a mustang dyno and for being stock 98...should be 280-300 max.
