not really. Pontiac hasn't been the performance side of GM since....the 60's? Chevy sucked up every high seller part of GM. Took SUVS and Trucks from GM, Performance from Pontiac(vette, maro), car sales from Oldsmobile, higher class cars from Buick, luxury vehicles (cars/SUVS) from Cadillac... Now how to take away from Saturn/ Saab.....

Hmm...still not sold on the exterior of the thing. Looks good in one picture/video, and funky in another. I should be in good enough financial shape to afford one a year or so after production starts. I'll make my decision after seeing it in person, reading the numbers and reviews (I was drooling over the challenger moreso than the camaro, but wouldn't buy one now even if I could afford it), and deciding if I really want to part with my bird (although thats not too much of an issue since my dad already claimed first dibs if I ever sell it...down payment right there and bird stays in the family).
I do really like the interior though.

I'd be getting one used if I were to get one. Save a few grand.

Its styling should sell pretty well, but its not going to have nearly as wide of an audience that the Mustang sells to. The whole trunk/sunroof thing will help it tho, thats for sure.... but how low it sits to the ground.. eh.. for some reason your average person hates that lol.

selling points is , how easy is it to get in and out of , how easy can you see out of it , how big is the BLIND SPOT ,is it easy to park, and a what kind of gas goes in it , safty and all that really dont make sales anymore because everything took that and run with it .. MPG is a biggie too ,
Bottom line ..we will just have to wait till we can sit in one ....
