I made this from a new silverado emblem I removed for a customer.
Its amazing the difference wheels alone will make.

TNTramair, that intake is hot as hell!
Here is a little bit of powdercoating I have been working on with a friend of mine.
So far we have done all the headlight brackets, valve covers, coil pack brackets, STB, fuel rails, TB, intake, MAF ends and a few of the bolts up front.

Sorry! It has been a while since I have been on. We used an old lobster cooler from Red Lobster and turned it into an oven using old oven parts and controls so it is bigger but we have now moved on to a bigger home made oven that is 6x6x7. The other one was 2x3x6. It is cured at 375* for about 10-15 minutes but in order to coat it you have to hot flock it by heating it up first then shooting it so the powder will melt and stick. Its an interesting process nontheless but worth it. Originally Posted by Mieux97

Here are a few of it all together.
And the waterpump that will going on it after the build. Lost the engine due to bearing failure some how cruising a couple of weeks ago and needless to say when the engine comes out EVERYTHING is getting coated. From the heads to the k member. Should be fun.
It is done in the same black and silver used on the other parts and we wrapped it in a turkey oven bag to be able to powder the 2 colors.Last edited by ntimid8r7; 12-11-2008 at 05:30 PM.
