Nice wife story here...
So I just hit my 25th birthday the other day and had the goat about a year. I enjoy washing, waxing, talking about the goat probably far too much and showing the wifey too many videos to the point where she groans "Jesus, I don't ever want to ever see a GTO again" Anyway, she has a 08 civic where she drives that thing entirely too fast (she's a homocide detective, probably resulting from her patrol days which she drove the shotty ford WOT to calls) and has never driven the goat (it's a M6) and according to her she has no interest in driving a manual. I told her I wanted her to drive the Goat for my birthday wish to the Gas station. Well, after a sluggish fight she finally agreed. She barked the tires through every redlight with my constant input on how to improve. Funny, a couple days later we were headed to my parents house and I said let's take the goat. Guess who wanted to drive there

yeah they generally say that, got a jensen healey for free, motor rebuilt, suspension, interior all done up-wife said the car goes or I go guess she must have been some hot peace of ass. That or he might have lost more than the car

My wife carries a gun daily so I'm a bit nicer to her. But I have a concealed license and I practice often so we realize we most likely both will be dead so that tempers serious arguments.

LOL....My wife doesn't need a gun! She is ambivalent towards my toys and prefers to walk around them and ignore them as if they don't even exist.

Nice way to convert her. I also like your explanation about having "a sluggish fight" lol. Gotta have at least one cool car around for me, always.

The girl I'm talking too doesn't care about cars, she says "as long as it has ac and heater its fine." Which works for me because I don't want to buy a new clutch if she wants to learn to drive stick.
On a side note, I was proud of her the other night when she said I know what kinda car I drive and said "pontiac gto" i was so proud.

+1 Buddy!
hehe my wife Bought my SS for me. She drives a <gasp choke cough> Tiburon (07 tho) and let's me drive the " Gas Guzzling V8 Red Neck Machine" as she puts it.. I don't have the heart to tell her I get as good or better mileage then she does.. She wouldn't believe me anyhow.
To the OP, Right on man. I can't let mine drive my car.. She may want one for herself.. and that would end my Mod budget..
Nice wording there.."sluggish fight" Had a couple of those myself

I guess I really lucked out. My wife has a GTO, and loves to race (try to race) my Cobra. She is a gearhead too, which really helps when I want to mod.
