My biggest difference was in my old 83 YZ 490, that old thing runs a ton better, lots cooler, and starts like a champ when its ran for awile... I have added as much as a ratio of 36:1 and that seems to be about right, this stuff is amazing........

Took my car out today to BEEVILLE TX, about 200 miles from me, i was cruising at about 75mph and i got about 23mpg!!!about a 3mpg than before..i thought it would have better results, but i have only gone through like 3 tanks..maybe a couple more tanks and it will be better..

Man a double digit percentage increase isn't all that bad now....any noticeable difference in idle smoothness/acceleration?

I am going to try a little experiment. I tried the outboard oil with good results. I did not check the milage or anything, but I know when my cars are running better, especially the Goat. I have some Lucas remaining, about a gallon, and I going to try a 50-50 mixture of outboard oil and Lucas at the next fill up. If the results do not change, then I will change the ratio to say 75-25 and continue to experiment. I will let you guys know the results.

Well 36:1 is a tad rich for the 4 strokes

your running 36:1, isn't that a bit too rich? if I go any more than 40:1 in my kaw it starts fouling the plug quick........could you imagine the power output of a 5.7 or 6.0 two stroke with full reed valve and tuned exhaust.... the thought of the exhaust tone it would make kinda gives me a chubby

yea i got both a kawasaki200 and a Yamaha 490, they both are tricked out and snappy, the 200 isnt fast its just fun to ride, i paid 300 bucks for it put on a fmf pipe, boysen reeds, pro taper bar and grips, ASV levers, smaller front sprocket, and paper type airfileter. Its just comfortable... but i run it at 36:1
The YZ on the other hand, i would like to see the man that could truely push that bike..... its scary fast.... Reeds, filter, pipe and silencer, bored 2x and added a lil stroke to it to up the compression, oh and we run aviation gas in it at 26:1, On pavement, at 65 to 70, sitting at the bottom of third (it only has four but will hit 107), if you just open the throttle the front end will just rise off the ground, just nice and easy....thats when you realize your haulin ass ... on an old bike.... on one wheel....

I have found the 1oz to 5 gallons is the happy spot for most GM V8's....
