high mileage owners...
so ive been itching to flog my car down the strip just to see how slow it is, plus it looks like alot of fun. only thing is, its got 170xxx on the clock. drives just fine, no problems whatsoever(knock on wood), i have fluids changed usually 500 miles before next scheduled date/mileage scheduled.
anyone else flog their high mileage f-body down the 1/4 mile strip?

137K and I have not had a single problem with mine going down the track spinning up to 6700 RPM. As long as the car is in sound mechanical shape should be fine, basically just like a long hard pull onto the highway

at 140xxx with lid and catback ran 13.4 on stock tires no traction and i was doing a bracket race so I slammed on the brakes to not break the bracket so 13.4 with braking. I just added a ls6 intake, 80mm bbk tb, slp maf, and bbk pullys and headers will hopefully go in friday. Don't worry about it have fun with the car I drive mine hard all the time only things that have gone out are thinks like radiator, water pump but motors solid.

Ran 13.7 at TVRP, completely stock A4 about 155K. I only made a few passes so there's probably some room for improvement with it.

i like what im hearing. ive heard these motors were beasts and will last awhile if you take care of them.
come to think of it, isnt 170k just the break in point for these beasts? lol
