Best bang for your buck?
LS6 hands down. Way cheaper.
The better of the two, FAST 92 hands down. But the price is just crazy high. I took the plunge and bought a FAST 92/92 a few weeks ago. Power increase is nice, but the price and PITA install sucks. Depending on what you want out of it, probably LS6.
It is nice seeing this though.

Ill take it off my TA and sell it to you for 1500 bucks. Sound good?
Maybe, That is quite the hike for me dude. My MT ET are already worn so badly from just street driving. I would hate to drive 100 miles on them, you should see them after my drive today, the tread is down to almost nothing.

LS6 for a basic bolt on car. Fast 92/92 or 90/90 if your going heads and cam.

NBM / Silver- 00 SS / 71 SS Elcamino
Smaller cam, a LS6 will be just fine. Going bigger (230 & up) get a fast.
2000 SS Camaro Heads, Large cam, Fast 90, 9"w/430's and locker, yada yada yada... you get the picture

ls6 around 300 used and fast will be close to 900 new. no clue about used price on fast though. or you can wait for the street warrior lol. supposed to be mid 600s. no clue when it is set to come out but summit shows nov 15 shipping date. i got the ls6 for 300 off ebay and ill be seeing sometime this week what kind of condition it is in. in other words if the add was accurate on description.
2000 white z28, t-tops, free mods, intake, full exhaust, dyno tune, repro c5 z06 wheels, and some elbow grease here and there.
