I don't know man. I've seen some gorgeous F-bodies down there in Southern California. It's not uncommon to see a group of 5 guys all with built motors, wheels, suspension the whole 9 down there in So. Cal.

No doubt. I have friends that live in LB. But go just a bit north and east and it's pretty racially mixed.

Yeah, your right it is pretty diverse in those parts. Long Beach is a nice looking city by the way.

I'm not into imports either, but my friend used to have a pretty serious integra... My 99 Z28 M6 will run a solid 13.8 quarter, but check this video out... His on very low boost, mine from deep in third gear. From a 50 roll to 120 when he got on brakes.

This is straight from the U.S. Census Bureau "State & County Quick Facts" page, the city of Long Beach is 45.2% white, with the remaining percentages accumulated by a mixture of other races - ofcourse. The second leading race in L.B. is Hispanics with 35%. So yes i'd say your missing something. LOL

And the Long Beach Pier as well as the Belmont shore are just as nice as any California oceanside in my opinion. Downtown Long Beach isn't too shabby either. It is overall a nice looking city!

Heck, I'm so old I remember going to POP in Santa Monica and riding IT'S over-the-water roller coaster.

Yeah I love the Santa Monica pier. Very peaceful place to be at. That's where they filmed the beach scenes of the movie "Romeo and Juliet" by the way.

I feel like I'm at a class reunion! I moved out of Cali in '04 went back to visit my best Bud last year who lives in Gardena. (Western and Artesia) Not too much has changed. My lungs instantly remembered the smog lol Had a great time, but do recall the differance in racial tension that simply is not here in Washington. I remember being shocked when I drove my family up here and noticed that they had blacks and whites together on bill boards, something you would have NEVER seen in So Cal at the time. But then I was surprised that they have built in drink holders for coffee cups in the shopping carts at Safeway too so I'm naive.
