at the time that i was looking at buying a hot rod, I had really wanted a ws6 in lets say 2001-02? Yeah, around that time. The ls1's were so far and away out of my price range vs the 5.0, it was just a no brainer. For the most part its still way more expensive to do up an ls1 fbody as opposed to a fox body. you made a good point with this post man.

Personally i love both the Fbody and the mustangs, I intend on getting a 4th gen TA at some point to sit next to my mustang. But a lot of you guys can't accept the fact that the fox body and up mustangs are infact really good cars. You can argue all day about numbers and horsepower figures and supercharger this, turbo that. But in the end they are both good cars. My fox body although it needs work is a 1990, thats 18 yrs old guys. Older then some of the members on here. I'd say thats pretty damn good?

I went looking for Camaro's and I saw a nice 2005 Vette at a Ford Dealer. So, I went to check out the Vette and the guy wanted me to test drive a Mustang. Well, there was no way that I was going to buy one ... but ... I thought, 'I'll take for a ride just because...
That interior in that thing looked like the kind of plastic that the cheapest toys are made of and I did not like the way it felt when I drove it either!
Mustangs Suck!
I kept looking till I got my Camaro...

My wife doesn't post here but she does have a 68 Camaro.
Some reasons women prefer the Mustangs where easier to get in and out of, not as low to the ground, smaller door, easier to see out of.Last edited by NJ 666; 08-29-2008 at 07:26 PM.

Navy Blue Metallic- 2000 Camaro Z28 A4
One of my best friends owns a black '05 Mustang GT and now and then he takes me to a Hooter's in Neunkirchen, Germany. It's a one hour drive on the german autobahn and I like the car...

The problem with the door is parking in "tight" spots. Since the door is so long it can't be opened as much and you have to kind of "snake out"....just what I read.
Since you sit down/lower in the car in relation to the sill, you may put on a show when getting in and out of the car, if wearing a short skirt. You are fairly tall for a woman so I see it as less of an issue with you. My wife is 5'8" and has no issues either.
It is tougher to see out of than a Mustang.
I think this was from a marketing report I read somewhere. And remember it was based on average women drivers.

Yeah, I guess that all makes sense.
I avoid tight parking spaces altogether. I'd rather walk the distance than have to park up against someone else. They'll just hit my car with their doors anyway ...
And, short skirts are a thing of my past ... not my future so, guess I'm good to go with the Camaro there
Plus, I've never been accused of being your average girl...

My husband has the firebird that he drives and now we have the vette. I am sure that I can drive the firebird anytime I want to, but I choose not to. I would rather drive the vette. Who wouldn't.?
