very good points.........maybe something that can be added in future COTM voting. As is, its suppose to be car not pic of the month. There have been a few cars that were the best in past months but didnt have a great pic. But what it boils down to is people can vote for whom ever they choose, whether just a buddy or maybe they like Trans am better then Camaro. Same ole problems no matter what type contest lol.

Just wondering because sometimes I'll pass up voting for a car because I think the pic would be terrible for the front page.

Not really a fan of that particular picture of the Z06. The wide angle lens makes it look funky.
But I have seen the other pictures of it, and that is the car I voted for.

When we vote for COTM are we voting on just the car itself or the quality of the photograph of the car? I always vote on what I think will be the best looking pic for the front page but everytime it seems like a different pic is used than what was submitted. Just asking because if we're voting on the actual car I think people should be required to submit a description with mods along with the pic. Just my .02

I only know of 1 time the car on the home page wasn't direct linked from the cotm entry.
I guess COTM is voted on how you see fit. You can't tell everyone to vote for a particular aspect of a photo. I personally look at the whole picture. The car and the photo itself. I've seen a bunch of sweet ass looking cars not make cotm due to someone else just having a bad pic...ask Mr Luos. He has one of the nicest looking cars on here IMO but it took several months for him to win cotm. Wasn't that his car was beat by a better looking car but his photo left a little to be desired. When he did win it he had one of the best photo's we've had during the entire contest. We do keep the car mods out of cotm and save those as a point to be considered for car of the year.
In the end just vote for whichever picture/car that you think is the best for that month. Doesn't matter really what reasons....it's a totally subjective contest really.
