Thanks - I'm trying to limit the number of mods as it's 1 of 344: QSM-M6-Red Interior-High Sound System. I'm hoping in 15 years it might be worth something... who knows, but given what 04's are selling for today, more kids will be buying them and modding the hell out of them. They'll pitch the OEM parts - mine are in the rafters in gargage. The only mod I can't undo is the exhaust, but they were produced with a threaded hole under the right side panel, which is easliy removed, to hang a new system. It should have originally produced with a dual exiting both sides. I found a site for Monaro's in austrailia(sp) and asked them why the dual on the left? most responses can back with it was originally produced to compete with bmw's. That's why the interior is so comfortable...and why there a bit on the heavy side.
But, that's easily solved by taking $hit off. Next oil change a lighter skip plate goes on and another part goes in rafters. Once my youngest (15) starts driving the back seats will come out...and anything else I find underneath it I don't need.
Anyway - I comtemplating a gm performance cam and lowering it. Every time I complete something, the wife and I go for a drive and I tell her I'm done tinkering... I get a look telling me you're full a $hit... green light.

Well you are lucky then, my wife won't let me touch it since the Camaro fiasco. I'm lucky I got her talked into doing the catch can and spintechs. If she knew the skidplate and tow brace were off she'd have a cow lol. She won't know about the HP tuners when I get it as well, for all she knows it will be only for the Camaro.

Quick question, Sarge...........I also have the 2 breathers mounted as you do. But on the passenger side, where you have the cap, what if you leave this open or run a hose to vent this off.............? I do have the TB capped.

I did the same kinda setup for my twins,i use a single vented catch can hidden under the radiator cover with both vent from the valve cover routed into them, works like a dream.before I had the turbos on i jus bought one of those water seperators at a parts store, hide it near the battery ran 3/8 line off the valve cover to the one behind the throttle body and it had the lil rubber nipple on it you could drain it with.total mod less then $10.best thing no one even knew it was tucked down there out of the way!

Well, I just poped the covers on my 06 and the catch can will hook just like yours sarge, but the valve cover vent on the right goes to my K&N cool air and the left one is blocked off. Can I just block off the right side and the K&N and run a hose and filter on the left side? Thanks, Jack

Then the answer is yes. As long as you vent the crank ( you have) the return being rerouted back through your CAI can/will reintroduce oil misty at WOT. We are controlling that and relieving crank pressure at the same time. I want to be sure here....did you vent the oil filler neck?

No have not done anything yet, want to get every thing worked out first. So the left uncorked with a small filter won't be enought? Thanks
