A busa is VERY comfy and great for long hauls, I think a ZX14 is a better touring/sport bike just due to a more upright riding spot

people say that a busa isnt for the twisties, ive been with a rider that takes the twisties fine on a busa, without anyone on the back he gets pretty low.. i think its the rider honestly.
for a longer ride the busa is what you want, we went to the beach on a busa and we had a cbr954 riding with us..and u could tell that the cbr wasnt so comfortable riding that distance/long. of coarse crouched over on a sport bike is gonna suck on a "long haul" no matter what.

1000, 1300, 1400 they are all 9 second bikes, so i think it comes down to comfort/style. in my opinion the zx14 is ugly as sin (and im not a huge kawi fan either, fck those 250s lol...nevermind..anyway..). the busa has a style of its own (except im not overly excited about the new style to the rear on the 08s, plus everyone and thier brother has the orange/blk 08 busa)

go to a dealer, sit on the bikes...check em out. thats the best way to go!!
I <3 Busas obviously.... but its your choice and 10-13k

Um... LOL, This is the first year the CBR1k did ANYTHING right. you must be joking

This is the first year in 3 or more that a honda 1k sport bike is lighter than the year before it. I would bet the same can be said for the 600RR

It has to do with Honda making the worst liter bike

What worse is how the OP wanted to compare it to a ZX14 or a boooooooooosa, shit... they aren't even on the same playing field in any way

I understand you dont like honda, but overall i'd be willing to bet that with handling, braking, and acceleration to about 120 or so the cbr1000rr is faster then the busa and zx14. THose bikes are pretty big, pretty heavy, and not nearly as racey. They have extremely powerful engines and go like stink on the highway. Call me crazy but i'd rather have the cbr. Everybody that i've ever talked to in person thats ridden or owned busas all say the same thing, that they are a total blast straight line but the gsxr1000 does everything better and they often trade the busa in on one.

For the life of me I can't understand why people think they need more then a 600 to have fun on the street though. THIS IS MORE MY OPINION THEN ANYTHING. NOT LOOKING FOR A PISSING MATCH

I agree, you can not even run to the top of first gear with out doing double the speed limit on a 1000 bike. a 600 will allow you to rip 1st, and get into second a good bit at least doing the same speed.

Chill man all bikes are freaking sweet, I enjoy looking at all bikes......I ride a cbr and I love the bike....Honda's will last a long time, most people would not be able to tell a diff in a gsxr1 or cbr 1.....they are both insanely fast....1 or 2 tenths in a quarter mile is not a big diff.....But Im not looking for trouble either..........
