vibration
Just replaced my tranny mount yesterday with a prothane mount. I have a weird vibration now that shakes the whole car. If I put it in park or neutral and rev it up I still get the vibration. I almost feel like something on my exhaust(seems louder) is wrong, but had no issues before. Could I be getting the vibration if I did not fully torque the bolts to spec? I had trouble torquing the crossmember to the mount.

I have read that the energy brand mounts do not have this issue?
Where can I buy one. I looked on jegs and summit.

I got my energy at autozone. Summit carries them as well. Compare your new unit with you old. If there is height difference, that can cause vibration. I had to grind the the nubs on the energy unit to get the height right.

Installed the energy mount. removed the bump stop (as instructed by TransAm11973) and left the plate out. The mounting bolt on the prothane was bent!
Working perfectly.
