Handwash every week or two. Car usually gets about 10-20 miles per week on it.

Jackstands, simple green and a gasoline powered pressure washer for those undercarriage cleanings. There is a spot free pressure washer(wont hurt your hand in spot free setting) in town and i usually take the bucket and the mit/meguiars wash and waste a couple of bucks. Worth not having the water spots

Usually hand wash but if it's really dirty and I don't have time I'll go through the touchless seeing they don't clean down to the paint anyway. I get free weekly car washes, but never use them very often.

hand wash, although i will occasionally go to one of those "do it yourself" stalls at a local car wash with the proper drying apparatus if im in a hurry. i dont trust the whole "automated rolling thru a generic wash designed for any kind of car, truck, or van" tho (and neither should anyone else).

I don't drive mine very often-but the key to keeping it clean is a garage. I was keeping my car outside and not even driving it and every 4-5 days it needed a full wash. Now that its in the garage its been 6 months since I washed it. When I do wash it-I wash it by hand. I do everything possible to prevent swirls like- use the 2 bucket system(one bucket of soapy wash water and one bucket of clean water to wash my mitt off in before dunking back in the soapy water bucket-try it-you wont believe the dirt you will have in the clean water bucket that would have been grinded into you paint) I also use a quality carwash that has essential oils to prevent swirls created from grit/dirt and a quality microfibre wash mitt. To dry I use a Micro fibre waffle weave towel- it is amazing how they dry so fast without swirls. I use a quick detailer called Prima "slick"-best QD I ever used-leaves the surface so slick(uses some kind of polymer I believe) which seems to repel or make it harder for dust to stick to. Hope this helps someone.

Come on, this shouldn't even be a question! The best way to wash your car is to hand wash it yourself...Unless you really are lazy and don't care about your paint job...I always hand wash mine...

if for some reason I became instantly retarded and took my car to a carwash, as soon as I saw some random dude start to dry my car off or clean the inside I would immediately go into attack mode and start dropping every person there.
