i actually joined the forum because i am in a few debates over motors and cars and whatnot and would like to see if you guys could clear things up for me from time to time...thanks..

welcome to the site... you will find while we are biased, and worship our LS1's we are atleast honest adn enjoy bad ass cars of all flavors...

alright, so on this other forum not related to cars, this one guy was tellin a story about how his truck got broken into, and he starts describing his truck, and it goes like this..said it was a '99 1500 with a bored 350, supercharged, turbo400 tranny, racing flywheel, ls1 cam, and one or two other little things i cant remember right now..

so this one guy starts jumpin down his throat way off topic talkin bout your a moron and this and that, you cant even do that this that and the other. i kinda thought it was bs how he started gettin all snippy about it when it wasnt that serious, so i decided to try and prove him wrong for sh*ts and giggles....but its turning out that he was right...his whole thing was the ls1 cam in the 350 block, with a distributor and all this...

now, i read somewhere that they were coming out with a front end assembly piece that would allow you to put a dist. and a mech. fuel pump on the ls1...so, is it too farfetched to think this guy had a ls1 cam in a 350 block, if he did some work inside and bought some pieces...seein as how the ls1 is 346..44, somethin close to that...and with the bore and stroke bein diff.?? im over the whole debate with the kid now, im just curious...
