I think I figured it out. They need someone to back the pontoon boat down a shitty little ramp and then make sure it starts.

wait a minute man... women can be pretty fucked up... you don't suppose they are trying to off you out there... you know... sink your ass to the bottom of the lake with some concrete shoes??? it would make sense... two of them... one couldn't possibly lift you by them selves...
