I know you Europeans like futbol like we like real football but honestly most people (at least the ones I know) think soccer is for kids or hispanics. Your average adult American is about as likely to watch pro soccer as to watch WNBA. Me personally would rather watch nothing unless racing is on.

i play and watch... my roomate is from scotland and grew up in england... so he's hardcore into soccer

see, the point is that only americans think of football as "real football". nobody else in the world gives a rats ass about it. and i don't mean that disrespectful against the game itself, although the british don't get the point of playing rugby with so much padding. i've seen the bills against the jets in buffalo last fall and had a blast!
futbol is spanish for football (as the brits call it), or fussball as we call soccer here.

but that all doesn't matter, because we just lost the f()%§&$ euro championship, aaaaarrrrghhhh we got by the spanish.

And I cant help but think of soccer as a hispanic sport because that is the only group of people around here that give a rats ass about it. By the way, I think Pro and college football sucks. Id rather eat dirt than watch football.
