    Turning signal light

I don't know if anyone has ever experienced this but with in the last week my right turn signal light will start to slowly come on and stay on for a while. It doesn't happen every time but quite often now. Does anybody know what this means or what i could do to fix it? Also, it is not as bright as when you throw on the signal. Any input would be great, but i think it is just a fluke.

It could just be the bulb going bad or condensation in one of the sockets. It wouldn't hurt to just replace all of the turn signal bulbs of the side that's acting up. If it's still doing it, you could have a bad wire or socket. I had to replace one of the sockets on my LT1. I bought a used one from a junkyard and cut off the old one and spliced in the replacement.

    Cool

Try installing a new heavy duty turn signal flasher.

Do you have a part number for this?

Got mine at OReilly, about $8 for both. They accept the 3157 bulb and the package should match the number on your bulb. Auto zone had only 1 and was more money and Advance had none.

You are talking about new sockets right? I was asking about the part number for a new HD flasher that someone posted above........

HD flasher? It opens the circuit when the current gets to a set amperage. If you draw too much current, that might be dangerous for your harness wires and the contacts in the column. Fix it right is my advice, probly need to replace sockets like so many have said.

The front lenses hold water, and I drilled holes underneath (installed new lenses too) to allow drainage and removed the yellow vent caps on the back.

I'm trying to figure out how to fix it right....I had never heard anyone talk about a HD flasher before. I plan on buying a new socket at AutoZone.
