Well I didn't think I was going to win COTM that is for sure! I had been chasing the GTO the entire time with the exception of the last couple of days which the tables turned. Thank you all who voted

It is a good feeling being nominated car of the month. I have been on this site for some time, not a big contributor but definitely an enthusiast. Which now a corvette had won back to back months which is good to see, lord knows I have seen F-bodies do it.

Anyway My name is Nik and I am a 24 year old college student in upstate New York, the car is a 2001 M6 Non ZO6. The picture was taken in front of my college's baseball fields, thus the red dragons. It just seemed like the right place to take a good picture. I seem to be a little young to be driving a corvette but a little old to be in college still. The truth is that the car is due to uncle sam paying my bills

I bought the car from a guy in Kentucky for a good price about a year ago now and have enjoyed it ever since. One thing I think I am most proud of is that I actually drive the car! I am not one of those 20,000 mile car owners, no, the car is nearing 100K and I have put on 22,000 in one year

So while the car is babied I also drive the snot out of it. The car didn't look like it does now when I first got it. It was just a base corvette, everything else I have put on it, and yes it is a money pit.

Now about driving the car. I take it to as many legal events as I possibly can to push the limits of the car which is a good time, but I'm not going to sit here and

you all saying that I never participate in the commission of a traffic crime here and there. What can I say I guess I am still young dumb and full of

Anyway the main reason I bought the car was to replace my first over the road toy, I dont get why my family thinks I am safer on four wheels? I still go fast!

I definitely have a speeding problem If you have not figured it out yet and until the corvette can beat a liter bike it will not be done being modified!

Well I think I have babbled enough so again thank you all who voted for me!

Maybe next year I will take pictures of the engine mods and be voted into car of the month that way a second time!

I voted for your car, glad it won. What appealed to me other than the car itself was the Red Dragon sign and if you look very carefully, squint your eyes if you have too, you'll see a red thing that appears to be a dragon. LoL.

Thanks Goat I owe you one! Im almost sure you will have it on lock down for nextr month. Sorry it took so long for me to postr this I just got set up in my new place the other day and then had to take more pictures. No 3rd shift it is not my onlky car I also drive a 200$ 97 cavalier (pictured) the vette is on the road from the end of april to the middle of september then is in hibernation. I have actually changed rims since I took the pictures for COTM let me know what you think. Thanks to everyone who voted for me! I couldn't be happier
