pontiac vibe made by toyota?

My sister just bought a pontiac g6. Nice but felt cheap. I hate my nissan. Im thinking about going back to lexus.

what do you hate about it? I was under the impression you like that car? Personally I think Nissan dropped the ball on the last version of the maxima in comparison to the car before it. At least in terms of interior quality and fit and finish. The 00-04 maxima was a really nice car.

the g/f drives a vie gt and loves it. its a M6 and only a 1.8 rated at 180hp. it gets up and goes okay but on the freeway it pulls nearly 40mpg with me driving. also carries a lot of shit especially with the back seats folded down

Its not totally bad, Ive had problems with the sunroof a coupe of times with this past one being replaced. Back dooor sticks , had problems with that about 3 times. Front right strut replaced. I only have 16k miles. I read some other common problems on the maxima forums and think I want to try my luck somewhere else. I only have a 2 year lease and want to do some research for my next car. Most people hate lease's but atleast its always under warranty. My wife has a maxima also and has similar problems. Hey sunroof is making noise, suspension noise.

You aren't familiar with the Azera, Veracruz and Sonata are you. Tiburon and tuscon way more? uhhhhh the tuscon is their entry level suv. The tibruon interior is probably the worst interior of any current model they make except for maybe the accent. Anyone that thinks that a 96 cavalier has a better interior then well shit nearly any 05+ model car of any of the major manaufacturers is smoking a lot of crack and needs to go to rehab.

Azera and veracruz, no, I'm not. They sound columbian though.

And Sonata... dont get me started, my sister has one, and its a peice. Yes, I'll take my old cavies interior over it, and you can keep the crack for yourself.

I have to agree with Stanger. You get what you pay for. You buy a cheap car it's gonna feel cheap and have shitty interior. If you step up to a toyota avalon it's roomy as hell even for a 6' plus person in the back seat, very comfy and the seats feel plush. You buy a camry and you feel like you are in a cardboard box. Same goes for every other car company out there.

My mom has one, nice little car. Decent pick up, and great gas mileage. I used it to go to NY once, I got like 34mpg.

IIRC, Toyota did the mechanicals, and Pontiac did the styling/interior.

Reliable, it's got almost 80k and no problems, except for an A/C problem when new that was covered under warranty. Oh one problem, cd player skips when braking. Annoying as hell.

I bet the CD player is a GM part.
I had a Mazda 626 and the only problems I had were with the parts that were made by ford. I had no problems with the toyota parts in it.
Fuck Ford. They suck.
