Rafting
The rafting season is upon us. Anyone do any whitewater stuff? I have done the Chatooga (the one from Deliverance) and the Ocoee Olympic course.

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
Gotta go right after a decent rain storm-that way the water level is high enough to rush you really quickly but not cover the rocks completely.

I have never been a big fan of water sports, but i have been known to make a few bubbles in the bath tub.

O-CO-EE... it's funny actually, I live on the other side of Orlando from Ocoee, FL, but headed to the Ocoee River in TN to go rafting. I've been on both the upper, which was the '96 olympic kayak course, and the middle. Only doing the middle this time. It's a blast!
Staying just north of Blue Ridge, GA, which is only about 30 mins south of the rafting center in TN. Taking an early break from the humidity and 90 degree temps here in Orlando.
Here's the place I usually go...

They've got some nice scenic drives up around there this time of year too. Not to far from the 'Tail of the Dragon'. http://www.tailofthedragon.com/

The mountain run off is here. Some great rafting/tubing/kayaking spots in Colorado this time of the year.
