A problem with the speeding tickets by camera is that they sacrifice legal repercussions for convenience. While they may be able to block registration and or license renewal for IN-STATE offenders, the civil nature of the fine makes it impossible to enforce with reciprocal agreements of other states. Basically a NC driver/car caught on camera in PA could tell PA to FO, and there isn't anything PA could do to collect on the ticket. We ran into that here in NC.

Plus a guy in a stolen car could care less!!!!

there is a new spray to put on the plate so when the camera flashes it shows white.

not really legal but no tickets. it's on youtube somewhere.

And by the way... there is a clear license plate cover that flashes over in bright white when a flash picture is taken from a traffic camera. So you can avoid such tickets !

I like this idea!!

I think the rules of the old days should apply.My dad tells me stories all the time about how if the Law Lost you running they were not allowed to give you a ticket if they caught you later. Too bad it still can't be that way/

Also true, but most states have statutes that cover any type of alteration to tags, including clear covers, that are ONLY clear covers. Granted, the chance of getting stopped for it isn't very big though.

No offense, but your dad watched too much Dukes of Hazzard, or was just pulling your leg! If they saw it was you, or got the tag, you were in worse shape years ago than you are today.

No leg pooling here. Well at least thats the way it was in TN, Other states might of been different.

i knew a kid who LOVED being in the county jail, he didnt even wanna come home because it meant he would have to get a job, he said he had a blast in jail...slept all day played video games all night, its sick really.

oh and sorry about ur ticket, that has happened to me before where i got one in the mail and i was pretty pissed off about it. everytime i get extra cash i either get pulled over for a 120$ ticket or i lose my contact which happens to be my last set and i have to spend 150$ on new contacts

Thats everyone's look at it. Thats why we now Have this B.S 50$ is alot to someone who doesnt have it. Esp now with Gas out the door. Guess it can only get worse in the future. Im about to sell all my cars and buy a horse and a Gun, Live old time, and have more fun enjoying everyday life.

I saw on MythBusters that the sprays don't work, but maybe they came out with a new product since the show.

Guys check out red light tickets on the web. They have a neat little plastic cover or spray that goes over the license plate. When the red light camera goes off (at night) it over exposes the picture and they can't read the tag! Here is one of the sites http://www.photoblocker.com/ Stick it to 'em Boys!
