How about next COTM we have just straight pics.....no photoshoping. Like no borders, backgrounds etc. etc.

Pewter- 2002 T/A WS6
Because then it's something like my Nikon DSLR vs someone's point and shoot 3.1 megapixel no name brand camera instead.
Throw colour correction and sharpening in there (no way I'd resize a massive pic and not sharpen it) can bring it out in a more equal manner, and focus on the cars and the composition of the shot rather than the colour quality and clarity just based on who has a nicer camera. How can you not have a background in a picture without being in a studio? This isn't just about who has the most money dumped into their ride but the total of the car's appearance, detail work, obvious mods, taste, composition of the photo, etc.
I do agree though that no one should be adding things in pictures (if they do). But stuff like adjusting the colour balance, sharpen, resize, gamma correction, saturation.. that's all part of photography and should always be fair game. Knowing the right settings to use in a photo isn't an unfair advantage - that is what you are supposed to do. You wont pick up any professional photos from a magazine without something being done to it in photoshop (or like editor). Adding wheels, changing stuff around like hoodscoops and panels, fake window tint, etc would be just wrong though.

Congrats to MacGyver on the win this month. Well deserved and the closest contest we've had so far between all 3 pictures. All 3 were great looking cars and the voting showed that.
A special thanks goes out to Y2k for helping with the contest this month. It was nice having a month off.
