The thing that sucks is it will prolly never go down till fall or winter. I saw on the news today they had a protest in Washington with a long convoy of trucks. And one said "Without Trucks America Stops". Well i wish it was true i wish they would stop for a week or two but that will prolly not happen either considering truckers have bills to pay to.

There was a point in time where we didn't have cars.. people don't need cars to function... cars are a comfort a convenience...Theres no difference in what their doing right now by raising gas prices like this.... They did this a few years ago when the horrible hurricanes hit and gas went through the roof.. people started stealing it, siphoning it, having an uprising..taking a stand.
Survival of the fittest .. people will adapt.. think about it as if the price for a gallon of gas is $100.. most everyone would figure out a way to live there daily lives without paying these outrageous prices,we wouldn't buy the gas and it would force prices to lower. We are so dependent on our cars it's like a baby with his favorite blankie. People can carpool but don't want, could ride a bike for simple things or short trips but don't want to out of laziness...

You can only adapt so much. Gas prices affect more than you think. Just cuz it might cost $5 more to fill up your take dont mean nothing. Im talking about all company's raising there prices to make profit. Im not trying to start a fight but if the price for a barrel of crude goes up to $200 like they are saying and you have to drive 30 miles to work one way and fill up once a week paying lets say 6 bucks a gal. that gets expensive. Face it we will have to deal with it but when you have a house payment and alot of little bills it adds up every little bit of money i can save adds up too.
Take a look at this, it will some up who is getting rich off us.

I'll be damned before I pay$4.00 for a
gallon of gas. this shit is crazy and there's no reason why they should be allowed to jack the prices up like that. We supposedly have all of these reserves that are untapped in the US that we went into a few years ago and got the prices to go down some. Maybe production should be increased...I'm going to be getting a big bodied benz diesel and switching it over to run off of french fry grease soon. Then no more gouging my pocket from these assholes getting rich off of us

Yeah the other day when I filled up it had gone up to like $3.89 a gallon. Is there any end to this dramatic increase in sight???

I need what I used to have back in high school.. we used to go through and find different parts at the junk yard.. well I found a government gas card.. for use with those cars you see saying "government use only" haha lets just say I didn't pay for gas all year long.. The only thing you need in addition to finding one of those is a guy that works at the station because your supposed to write down the plate the car using it has

Well, it's Kentucky Derby time and all the local stations are selling $3.75 for 87. My fiance' drove up to see her family about an hour north and she saw $3.55 for 87. They are definitely gouging for the Derby.
I'm sitting right under a quarter tank so it looks like I'm not driving this weekend. My plan is to buy no more than a half tank at a time until it comes back down a bit. On the bright side, at least I know my tax rebate check can go towards gas! Thanks, Uncle Sam!
