Save money for a short time on the clutch wait till the stocker goes out. That way you can get the most use out of it. As long as you catch it going out should be just fine and that way you can save some wear on your new clutch.
You want to car pool to the Sunday gtg ? I think it is going to be around 1 or 2ish. I should finish work at 1 and be ready to go.

Silver- 2003 GTI 1.8T :(
what parts should i do first? rearend/clutch/suspension/exhaust
or rearend/exhaust/cam/(heads if enough money)
orrrr.... heads/cam/fast 90/90/clutch/possibly some forged pistons or something... beef the engine up then do the safe stuff later...
the forged pistons idea comes from the fact i will probably get a fairly high miles car aka 100kmiles or so... and hopefully add spray later on

none if the above...
Tyler, if you are selling your TA because you cant afford to keep it and are worried about not having money for school, etc., the last thing you NEED to do is to buy a cheaper LS1 and then toss a shitload of money at it, money which you would never get out of it if you sold it...
i personally think you could keep your TA, and lightly mod it over the duration that you have left to pay the car off. i understand you are indecisive about what to do because almost everyday you have changed your mind about to keep or to sell. i know you dont need to sell the car, you just need to shift where you money goes and manage it that way...

no im not selling it for money for school... im selling it because i have always realized i dont need a low mileage car and im sick of making payments instead of modding... i have always dropped my money into mods and im tired of sitting here driving the same car everyday with only a few things done to it... i would rather drop a lot of money into parts instead of on having a low mileage car...

on a lighter note found out what eagles kit runs... 383 kit is 4" stroke, 6.2" rod length, -2cc flat top pistons, file fit rings, i can choose 11.0 or 10.4 compression, the bore will be 3.905, fully balanced is 2783.75

i understand where you are coming from, completely, but im fortunate enough to have parents that pay for my school and do not want me to pay for it... so i will definitely have the money... going fast is what makes me happy.. and having money helps me go fast... i definitely appreciate the concern but my parents and i all agree they would rather me waste all my money on cars now than if i end up tight on money and married with kids... i have money being saved up though on the side so im not going to go flat broke
