MMA is badass
I'm still such a noob but damn it is so much fun to learn this. Right now we're focusing heavily on Jiu Jitsu and light on the Muy Thai but the Jiu Jitsu is amazing. Anyone that is on the fence about trying this needs to just do it. Simply badass. So far my favorite move is the hip toss into the arm bar. Everytime I pull that move on someone I hear Shao Khan from Mortal Kombat screaming "FINISH HIM" in my head

yup yup
We study a vale tudo form, jiu jitsu and muay thai kickboxing... Our coach is one of the original instructors of the Lions Den when it was here in san diego (ken shamrocks gym for those of you who dont know what lions den is, and ken shamrock was in UFC 1) we do all sorts of other random things hes teaches us from his years of experience it is definitely fun as hell nothing beats the energy you get from stepping in the ring with a opponent you have no clue about, to later find out he has 4 previous fights and you knocked him out cold.]
5-0 so far all amature fights ! a fight at a local casino soon will be my first "pro" fight

I never seen him fight so I looked up his MMA record:
Win vs Inferno Inferno Submission (Choke) MMAX 9 - MMA Xtreme 9 3/3/2007 1st rnd
Loss Justin Stevenson Decision (Unanimous) FCSB - Best in the Southwest Championships 1/25/1997 2nd rnd 7:00
Ten year between fights, wow! Is he is mostly a trainer?

Yea he is mostly a trainer he hurt his back real bad in a tournament in the late 90's so he stopped fighting. He is a ring announcer on many local venues and bigger mexican venues also. Heres a little about him from his proelite page
He has multiple pictures of himself with many big name stars - both shamrocks, dean lister, and all of the ones mentioned below. Pictures in training courses (which he taught or taught alongside) and in personal life stuff (bbq, beach, parties)
I STARTED SAN DIEGO'S FIRST NO- HOLDS- BARRED TEAM IN 1995 CALLED THE DAWG HAUS IN CHULA VISTA.
FORMER ASSISTANT TO CARLOS VALENTE. FORMER ALLIANCE TEAM MEMBER UNDER NEI SEDA/ ALEXANDRE PAIVA
FORMER INSTRUCTOR AT VITOR BELFORT'S LEFT CROSS TRAINING CENTER PB
FORMER INSTUCTOR AT KEN SHAMROCK'S LION'S DEN SAN DIEGO
CURRENT INSTRUCTOR AT THE BOXING ZONE IMPERIAL BEACH,CA. FORMER NORTH AMERICAN SHOOTFIGHT CHAMPION 1997 INTERIM (BY DEFAULT VS. JOE CHARLES).
I AM A FORMER MIXED MARTIAL ARTS XTREME FIGHTS S.F. SUPER HEAVY CHAMPION RETIRED IN MARCH 2007. I HAVE HAD ALMOST EVERY JOB IN MMA FROM REFFING TO RIPPING TICKETS I AM CURRENTLY THE RING ANNOUNCER FOR TOTAL COMBAT ENTERTAINMENT. I HAVE BEEN TRAINING FIGHTERS IN MMA SINCE 1995.
MY EARLY CLAIM TO FAME WAS HAVING TRAINED MY GOOD FRIEND AARON BRINK.
