L92 heads on in Silverado
I'm thinking of going with LS7 heads on my car. So I might want to use the L92 heads on my 03 Silverado HD. Not sure if my truck has the lq4 or lq9 but I do know it's one of them (sorry, haven't bothered to look). The Truck is my DD and very reliable. Not really looking to make the truck go faster or anything like that. No performance goals in mind. Just asking what the gains would be? If it's not enough information, I apologize and try to get some more as soon as I can.

Don't waste your time on an LQ4 unless you have it bored 4.00 or larger. Most L92 heads are installed on 6.0 or 6.2's and require the L76 intake with 39lb injectors. They would be nice if you have a 6.0 or 6.2. There's a good right up on them in GMHightechperformance and Carcraft magazine. You might be able to google the articles.

Thanks. Right now I got the L92/L76 installed in my car (mods in sig). I thought LQ4 did have a 4.00 inch bore so I could reuse the L92's on the Silverado when I go with LS7 heads in the T/A.
