When replacing a flywheel...aluminum or steel?

For a DD I have heard steel, but I have not done that much research into it. Don't plan on dealing with it until my clutch needs replacing... granted that might be the next track meet

[ntimid8r]

Eh I just changed it to one of my sayings, so it's all good now

[ntimid8r]

That was hard work to not make a comment.

Agreed M6 is very nice. The only reason I really can have my car as a DD is because of the M6.

You could also go test drive a car that is a standard.

Well my Cavy would be my DD. Where is this car that you speak of in Grapevine?

[ntimid8r]

At some point I will have to suck it up and relearn cause I think the M6 is the only way to go.

I was thinking of renting a car with a manual tranny, get the insurance on it so if I f*ck up the clutch it wont be my problem.

Any body can take their foot off the brake and stomp the gas.

An auto will out perform a manual in a drag race. Faster and more consistant shifts. Plus getting out of the hole better too. Automatics have come along ways. Manuals are more "fun" to drive but have their drawbacks too. Bumper to bumper rush hour traffic isn't a fun experience though.

I think you deserve a cookie!

Its not the power its the cam, its a whore to drive specially when she's cold. But yeah you can drive her whenever, I trust all of you

I know that. All I am saying is that "you" really aint driving, one is just holding on to the wheel.

I feel when I drive my brothers auto. I would rather go in my car than his.

I didn't even notice, I guess when I read that my brain automatically put a comma there.

[SandmanWs7]

fixed look again

That comma makes a big difference

[SandmanWs7]

Hey beast how much torque you got?

[ss_caramo]

Hello all! Well, next friday at Ennis is a no go for me. Weve got a bunch of people taking time off next week for spring break, so I have to pick up the f'n oncall rotation

Might be able to make Denton tomorrow night though, if you guys are still going, and if I can get out of work a little early.

When the stare is from someone who wants more than 4 cyl. at her feet, yes... I would never wish any harm to anyone

[ntimid8r]

If you're offering.....I'm eating

Awww, see. I couldn't resist making a comment.

If holding on to a stick makes you feel manly, then to each his own.
