I think I beat the spring break rush at Disney's california adventure yesterday. Took the fam there and was worried it was going to be packed 'cause alot of cars there early. But I think most of those went to disneyland instead of california adventure....thank gawd. I HATE crowds, that's why it's worth it to take the kids out of school and skip work for a middle of the week run.

Your parents have balls of steel to even think of going there during spring break.
My sister came to visit 2 years ago and we all went to disneyland during spring break. After the 7pm disney main street parade.....it was literally human grid lock. No one could move to get out of there.

yea the roads are actually dry there is just ice on the sides, Denton ISD was the only school district to close down. My sister was pissed this morning cause she had to go to school
Plus this gtg is insanely close to me (unlike a bunch of other gtg's we've had) so Im def. going!

It sorta ruins the fun you do have at the parks. Yesterday was pretty good for us. The very first ride we went to, river raft, we walked onto the raft with no line!!!
Also using the fast pass is great too. Same thing with big roller coaster, waited for our time to go and walked right up to the coaster. I was amazed 'cause the screamer is the biggest attraction there.

It was unbelievable actually. Made my whole day. Also I took my son, he's 8, on the screamer for his first time. I couldn't see his face 'cause of the safety bar but he survived it. Also he went on the hollywood tower of terror too. Actually that was his second time. We went on that two years ago during the spring break incident. I got him the t-shirt that says, "I survived the tower of terror".
He was only 6.

It's soooo worth it to go during the week versus a weekend.
