took the SS out last saturday, i was scared shitless because thats his girl and i know how he feels..but i did really well soon ill be driving it

haha prolly not but a girl can dream right?

and for the record i cant drive stick because when i got my first fbody (at age 14) my dad was already in his "automatics are amazing and will outshift any man" kick... lol

My car is automatic so my girlfriend can drive us home when I'm drunk.

My automatic has gear selectors all the way down to 1st so I can beat my own automatic by shift it

blah....autos are good for two things....people who cant shift a manual car and drag racing.....

if i had comparable horsepower id take you up on your offer. Auto has more drivetrain loss so if i have same hp ill win.......in theory...

its nice to have manual becasue i can change launch speeds....shift when i want....yada yada yada........

i can shift pretty fuckin good for a 20yr kid in a lt1 car.......no im not a trained race car driver or shit.......the only thing im bad for is burnin the tires off launchin the car.....
If i had dr's...be different, i dont have anything against autos......wait yes i do....ive raced them for enough time in my short racing experience and hate them.

m6 for me as well, a clutch is alot cheaper than another transmission.

you can shift it as fast as my automatic with a stage 2 rebuild?

when i shift my car all yo hear is rpm dip.........when drag racin i dont even let of gas petal.....many older guys at local track call it slam shifting.

Hold gas down and before it hits shift point/shift light you put pressure against the shifter and slam the clutch. If done right there is just a dip in rpms.......so yes i can shift as fast a automatic when i need to lol!

when it warms up ill have to make a vid of car inside........you guys will know why i go though rear ends alot......best time on slips is a 13.7(bone stock car).....car has hit 13.1 once.....fuggin wish i had that slip

3.73 rear gear, drs, cai. cat delete. and a slp lm2 catback

yep, stick is the first thing i learned to drive. that all we had on the farm when i was growing up.

i thought about a another shifter, i miss third sometimes when i'm playing on backroads. but piss on it i dont get to do that often

and to this day you still say it was worth it!!!
