it was good, the left front corner was wrecked and i had to do some body work on it but it fits pretty well. considering the price, i could care less
good luck in your search

If you have a Z I would get a cowl hood. They look awesome. If I owned a Z I would have one.

i was going to but the wife started to warm up to the SS hood. she likes the cowl but on the traditional 2 inch or so, the small cowl. i want to find a flat smooth hood. i can't stand a hood that looks like a chrysler concord, what was GM thinking.
yes, it pays to have the wife's buy in when spending lots of money,.

i've seen them on ebay and it is good to know they have a store front too. what kind of prep work? any more then just sanding, prime, and paint?
the only thing i would do my self is fit it to the car. i would send it to a paint and body for the sand, prime, and paint.

wavy is not bad, as long as the mounting holes, hinge holes and stuff line up right. i mean as long as they got the important stuff right and the hood goes on straight and closes tight, a little sanding is not bad.
i wonder if there is enough material to sand out or fill and sand out those lovely chrysler concord lines?
I have seen the Hardwood hoods on summit too. But I can't get the wife to agree to a 3 or 4 inch cowl.
I like the SS hoods, well I like just about all the styles i have seen so far. I just wish some one would make a hood without those chrysler concord lines, lol.

any one care to take a stab at the avg weight diff between a factory steal hood any any of the fiber glass after market hoods? I'm sure the fiber glass is less, but I don't have a hood to weigh and compare. i'm just curious.
