well, if that's it I lost $600 on the kids.
The original bill had $300 per child. I guess it's better than nothing though.

they've cost me money since showing up so another $600 ain't nothing.
I'm hoping one of them becomes rich and famous some day so I can collect on debts owed. If I get rid of them now I'll never see a dime.

that's something my father would say...

but you know what, he and my mother both raised two boys. my brother is a pilot for Bombadier (Leer Jet), and I'm an Architect. we both have it on record that they agree we are the best investment they ever made.
i have no doubt your kids will grow up to make you very proud, Orion. then when they least expect it, hand them the bill...

it'll be one helluva bill by that time.
My boy starts kindergarten next year. We're out $950 this year for preschool and if he stays in the same school that goes to $1100 next year.

They're using this years (2007) income numbers and if you paid taxes in 07. Also, from what I understand it's going to effect next years taxes some . It's not so much free money as it is a semi-loan on next years taxes from yourself. Remember the last time this was done? 01 I thnk? Going to be the same way. You'll have to file it as income next year and get taxed on it again too.
The saying still stands " If it sounds to good to be true then it probably is." or "Nothing in life is free." or " It's a dog eat dog world and I'm wearing milkbone underwear." Ok, well the last one doesn't apply. I just wanted to throw that one in there.
