Naw a bunch of sites came out about thinking about making this a movie by jj abrahms in like early 2006 so as they were making what the story would be like a bunch of info and clues started coming out. Then in 2007 they started production on the movie and it just tied in with it but theres suppose to be a sequel, I don't know anything about how thats suppose to be filmed or what its about though haha

There might be in the 2nd one the same type of filming..theres a part where he turns and looks at some guy with a camera a few people are saying and hes suppose to be the character in the 2nd one but who knows..

Since there are vids out now of the audio at the end, lets see this coney island shit..
SPOILERs IN POST
I thought it was disturbing too when the guy got eaten, but cheesy when the camera landed focused on his head. When the bombs struck, even that make me feel uneasy.
I dont mind real bad endings, however, I do like putting up a fight. Movies like Deep Impact really fuck with me cuz I feel helpless. In this movie, I felt it again. I mean why couldnt they kill it? They can kill the little creatures with regular force, but the monster couldnt die? I mean, when the stealth bombers attacked, I thought that was sufficient, but miraculously, they crash land, near the monster, and its perfectly fine.
Oh and I thought the monster didnt look good at all. It sounded real good though.
However to say this movie sucked is blasphemy. Seriously, you gotta start to lighten up a bit, cuz this is no shit movie. If anything, those who say it sucked dont like unhappy endings.

Silver- 2000 Camaro SS
i think it sucked, but i dont like bad endings. i dont mind them if theyre unhappy, i just hate BAD endings that leave everything unexplained and unfinished. i liekd the end of the mist, and that was unhappy. very fuckin unhappy lol... but what an amazing way to finish a movie...

Well its skin is suppose to be super hard from being under all the water pressure all those thousands or millions of years first off, and in the mist in the book there suppose to just keep driving on in the mist looking for help...not kill everyone hahaha

Skin hard enough for napalm? Seriously, if theres a time to think of nuking Manhattan, theres time to use some sort of chemical weapon first.

Spoiler alert maybe???????
Way to forget the spoiler alert.
I had avoided the Mist threads due to not wanting to see something like this just blurted out.
And where are you getting all of this insider info? Cause most of it is wrong. Unless your best buds with JJ Abrams, where else has there been any real talk of a sequel yet??? This movie just hit theaters last Friday.

I just fricken said it says on the end of the movie. I wouldnt say shit that isnt true for no reason. And skin would be hard enough for napalm think about it..if something is living under thousands of pounds of pressure for thousands and thousands of years imagine how strong the flesh would have to be to live in that.

Burple- 1966 427 Cobra Replica
The skin is "thick" enough to live under thousands of pounds of pressure deep beneath the ocean... Yet it's got muscle mass and definition as needed to knock over entire buildings in a gaseous environment... Thick enough to fend off what were, one can only guess, minimum 1,000 lb dummy bombs dropped from a B2 with no damage whatsoever, no chunks missing, no penetration at all...?
Here. Here's a picture of a crater left by a 1,000 lb bomb.
Even if the daggum monster's skin was a whole 15 feet thick, which, one would imagine, would greatly restrict movement, that crater is deeper than 15 feet through ROCK and DIRT.
And what's up with that? A B-frickin-2 dropping a dummy payload from less than 3,000 feet...
Sorry, I'm ranting. I just really didn't like it.
In the end it's just another Hollywood monster movie. It may have been shot from a different perspective and purposely leave you with zero reckoning and conclusion but it's still Hollywood.
Oh wait, didn't someone say that if it could survive the "Hammer" attack it could probably survive a nuke... Ground zero of a nuclear explosion is hotter than the mother-fargin' sun!
