83 Z28 new project- 98 Formula WS7-sold:(
You would be ok, but a stall is one of the best mods you can do for an a4. You may want to go bigger with the cam also, it is a pretty small cam. Why go through the work of a cam and springs swap for a little cam when a 224/224 cam would be much better gains.

thanks for the help i went through the forums and looked at most of the cam post and saw that alot of people said for a dd a 224/224 with a 114 lsa was best option to go so i ordered it from thunder racing for $389.99 should i just get the springs and stall there also and if yes opinons on 3000 or 3500 stall for a dd which is the better way to go?

local guy here went with the hotcam in a 98 on stock heads and put down 377 to the wheels and ran a 12.1 if that helps. I believe he's also running a stall, LS6 intake and LT's though.

alright well one more question ive been on ls1tech looking at some threads and alot of people are saying that i might have problems out of the stock tranny after a cam swap true yes or no? this is a pretty mild cam if anyone is wondering i bought the 224/224 114 lsa from thunder racing

I run a 228R on mine stalled with the tranny cooler and haven't had any issues with it. Does the tranny become a weak spot.......yes, but I wouldn't automatically assume you're gonna have problems with it. I beat the piss out of mine with 97k on it and it shifts just like it was new. I have torque management deleted, shifts firmed up, and shift delay cut in half so I would think I've been just about as hard on a tranny as you could be. I wouldn't sweat it........you'll probably tear the rear up first.
I did.
edit:
224 cam is a much better cam
