Man you have no idea how much i hate sterotypes like this. I have learned to deal with some of the jokes, but others are just plain stupid. i would just about bet i could come up to where ever the hell u live and find dumbass's just as u have described. Im extremely proud to be from the south. Everything is so much more laid back here as compared not the North. Complete strangers will walk by each other, thow a hand up and speak. Like i said, im not pissed. its just that everytime some northerner comes down here, its like every person down here becomes some white trash hick that screws his cousin.

ok First of all.. it makes no difference what state your in... Every one of them have hillbilly white trash. I can see people going to a state and thinking " this is the state where everyone sleeps with there sisters" and then the first thing they see if some hilly billy that fucks up an order at a gross fast food place.. That does not help.. However.. I made it a point to not act/look like some redneck POS... people ask me all the time why I dont have a southen accent.. I was born and raised in Detroit. I hear about the negatives of where I'm from alot also. We can't even win the NBA championship without hearing Jay Leno talk about how we were going to burn the city in celebration. We have high crime and most of the streets look like they have been carpet-bombed by B52's.

Do various news media outlets come out with a "most inbred state" list once a year? No, but they do come out with a "most dangerous city" list ever year and i have to hear a bunch of morons talk about how you can't even fly over the city without getting shot down by a gang-banger with a rocket-launcher.

I've been in the city alot and I'm still alive, just like you have been around the south and probably don't fuck your cousin.

(biography it looks like) and i went and found a copy of "Pink Floyd - The Wall" and placed it on the display. I don't know if anybody would put any thought into it and figure out i was referencing his death in that little joke, but i found it funny anyway.

I agree with you. I like NASCAR (even though they've gotten WAY away from the "stock" part) and Dale Sr. was my favorite for years but that right there is damn funny!
