1+Foot of Snow + 4X4 SUV = FUN :D
I'll be honest. Koreans DO know how to make a good reliable SUV for under $25K. Not once did it get stuck.
Here are the pics of some fun in the snow.

rrrrright
1 foot is not a lot
reliable? you just need a 4x4 chassis and good tires - the rest of a car can be crap

x2.. my sisters 97 camry could go through more than 1+ ft of snow.
If that thing DID get stuck I would call it the biggest p.o.s 4x4 ever made
I don't know how the newer kia's are, but the older sportages (2000ish) are horrible buckets o' shit.
We havent got a huge dump of snow here yet, but im looking forward to having some 4x4 fun myself!

My sister has a 2002 Sportage and it is the Biggest POS SUV (if you would call it that) in the world. It cant even get into the driveway with less than 2 inches of snow without a struggle.
The Sorento is actually better then my old 2003 Xterra. there were spots where I would get just tire spinning and my father would just pass me by in his Sorento Laughing.

looks like some fun, but 1' of snow is not much of a test on a 4x4.
What type of traction aids does the kia have that would make it better than your exterra? Lockers, limited slip, some type hill decent or climb mode? If not 4x4 is all the same.
I've had my blazer pushing snow with the front bumper and mine sits just a bit higher than a standard 4x4... 4" lift and 35" tires really help out in the deeper stuff.
i miss those MT winters!

Awesome, get a little more experience with that and then you can move up to a gravel road...

1ft is not a lot, and on top of that, it's not more than 6" snow in these pics. Kia's ftl, none the less i would beat the shit out of one...

wow lots of haters. listen loosers, I am not selling you a KIA nor am I telling you to buy one.
The snow was up to the side rails and that is at least a foot from the ground.
Next time I'll piss against the wind and this way maybe you can be pleased.
If you don't like my post having a little fun in the SNOW, then Get The Fuck Out and post somewhere else.

it's all good Alex
I didn't say Kias are POS but if a 4x4 whatever didn't plow thru 1 foot deep of snow that would be something seriously wrong with it

people went really overboard with this lol cut the guy a break he's jus cruisin in some snow lol that kia is actually a hyundai platform and the product that hyundai is currently producing is quite good. pretty much as good as all the jap manufacturers at this point.
