I swaped with a yank 3400 from vig 3000. a bit better.

no, but it feels a bit more aggressive when I take off from lights just reving up that way. I'll get more concrete evidence in a few weeks when I'll hit the track again.

I put in 3200 vig. when transmission was built up again a few months ago. now it shifts pretty well. A4 stg5.

Well I can tell you first hand to make the right decision call each manufacture and tell them EVERYTHING you have. That is the ONLY way you get the right conv. you can't go off of others unless they have the EXACT combo.
Yeah it is going to be faster than stock but that doesn't mean shit!!
You have to give them all specs of your car to get the proper conv.
Take it or leave it all i can say is I learned the hard way about this 12 years ago.
Others interpretations are different on the same thing remember that.

I had a 3200 and that is what I voted but now I just ordered a 4200 1.69 STR stall from performabuilt.. I have a 230-236 cam and the power doesnt come on real strong until 4k

Got my SS4000 in the other day. That is what yank recomended for what I currently have and also what i plan on doing.
