Its neat, unique, what the hell ever you wanna call it, sexy even, however, you can probably get the same output for the same money and add a whole lot less weight, maybe?

I don't doubt that this thing works, but again, seeing is believing.
my fathers lingenfelter can do that... it's called a vallet system... turns off the SC and goes to a safe tune (for the SC beign off)...

Yeah, i've heard of stuff like that, sometimes it limits speed, othertimes the revs, othertimes both. It'd be pretty handy for parents and kids

how do you turn the supercharger off? I'm assuming you need to put a short belt on temporarily routed so its not turning the compressor? that even being said, how does the intake tract now work?

Or there's a computer controlled Boost Bypass Valve(BBV) Its how the blown cars aren't in boost all the time while cruising and such

There are several Cobalt SS's that have been twincharged so far. It is, in fact, a tuning nightmare, and doesn't produce much more HP. It does sound fucking amazing however.

on the cobalt it probably is, but the ford eeciv computer and sct tuning is probably much different then the slobalt. jus food for thought. They don't seem to be having any problems with this kit, they've brought it to market, and hellion wont sell anything that isn't dependable. good company. I want a hellion kit for my 5.0 lol

Diesels have been running that setup for a while. My buddy works in construction, and his mixers run Detroit diesels with turbo-fed blowers.
