Pewter- 2002 Trans Am WS6 M6
I visited Atlanta twice and driven through it a dozen times though not since the bridge on the main highway collapsed. That city could burn down in a nuclear fireball and I would be pretty ambivalent about it.

Yeah....that'd be cool. I've seen them a few times. Back when tickets weren't hundreds of dollars and they were playing good music.
I do like some on this new album but still nothing compared to their older stuff.

*** Oh Yeah, It's June Summertime TRAIN ***
I really like the beginning of now that we're dead, but once he starts singing I'm done with it.

I'm a die hard Metallica fan of the 1st 3 albums. I used to have a demo cassette tape they handed out when they had Dave Mustang in the band and even still have a very limited picture disk LP of Master of Puppets (the album cover is inside the record) After Cliff died their style and sound changed. Was not a fan of Injustice. Hell I think this current album is the 1st I've liked and bought. Load & Reload damn near killed all hope of liking any more albums.
At an Overkill concert (in the 80's in Phily) between sets they played Master of Puppets and me and my friends started a mosh pit to it. Bobby comes out and said "hey save some of that for us...." They were great concert too.Last edited by SMWS6TA; 06-09-2017 at 06:40 AM.

Nothing will ever compare to their early albums in my mind. My absolute favorite songs are still all from ...And Justice For All and older albums.
I hate that tickets have gotten so expensive. If he hadn't gotten them for free, we wouldn't be going. I paid an ungodly amount of money for George Strait tickets in Vegas so my wife could see him (and actually be able to see him). I will never do that for myself, there are too many car parts to be had for that amount of money
SAME! That intro is badass, then I change the station

I gotta get some video of Zach playing some Metallica. He's into harvester of sorrow right now. I know the guitar to that one so we jam it in garage From time to time. He's still heavily into pantera right now too. He almost has 13 steps to nowhere. . Still a couple timing issues but getting better

If he's into Pantera he'll love Hell Yeah! Members of Mudvayne and Pantera.
The cover of Phil Collins Don't care anymore with Dimebag playing kicks ass!

2016 Camaro SS - Summit- 2001 Trans Am WS6 - NBM
Morning
Helped a work buddy put the top end back on a 94 Z28 on Saturday, followed by a Camaro meet-up at a local Chicago-style pizza joint.
Did some weedeater work around the house Sunday, followed by a pool party for my friend's kiddo. Good times were had by all.

I got so lucky as hell yesterday. A few weeks ago I was changing my ac tensioner and pulley, well tried to. The bolt for the tensioner felt like the threads were messed up in the bolt hole. It would not tighten down at all. I was thinking it would need a Helicoil. So I took a chance and picked up a new bolt from Lowes just to see and lucky me it works. Now I'm wonder why does the oem bolt not, but not wondering enough to lose any sleep over.
