Detoit Locker. Got one? running one on the street?

Who has a detroit locker and who likes them. They are a little loud but do you like them? Just installed one in my new 9" and man its going to take some time to get used to it. I liked the fact they are bullit proof and I'll always have bothwheels turnin at the same time.

I have a Detroit and don't really care for it. If I didn't have 35 spline axles I'd swap it for a truetrac. I think I would rather have a spool as they are less jerky and the locker is locked anytime i'm on the gas anyway.

I have one and I love it because I know I cant break it but I must admit is a little jerky and noisy at times.

No probs here. Have one and love knowing I break something else before I break it, (kind of like now ) Noise doesn't bother me. Kind of funny seeing people looking in parking lots scratching their heads like WTF? Had a couple of workers at AZ saying it sounds like my Diff is going out, Morons. Only annoyance to me is part throttle when cruising the sometimes slight jerking left or right just easing into it. But knoiwing the rear will handle everything I throw at it is nice.

Well after driving and putting about 120 miles on my new 9" this week. I really like the locker. It quieted down after about 50 miles and I hardly notice it at all. Clunks a few times but sounds cool. Glad I got it in there. My car is not a daily driver and will only be driven in the summer months on weekends on cruises and at the track. I would diffenately recomend one.

If I had a 9 inch instead of my 12 bolt I'd definately have the Detroit Locker.
